yay blackouts<3

Today was oddly eventful.

Seven hours at a movie theater is unhealthily too long. But blackouts are fun, especially when you get to tell people that a movie theater is closed.

Whip It was good, although I’m sad I didn’t get to see any of the movies I wanted to. Thanks Costco for blowing out a transformer and taking half the town with you.

OH AND I HATE SPIDERS. ESPECIALLY IN MY TOWELS AND SHOWER. BYE.

Wedding Cake Martinis=love

Weddings are my favorite. For real. They are always so much fun and coming from a straight up Italian family there is always SO SO SO much food. If i eat anymore right now, I might die.

Oh and I have a list of wedding essentials for if i ever get married: Mashed Potato Bar, Open Bar, Fireworks, Ice Cream Bar, Chocolate Fountain. Obviously can’t wait.

Almost forgot, felt like Joe Jonas tonight. Played the tambourine and danced to Single Ladies by Beyonce. That is all.

Happy Birthday

IT’S NICK JONAS’ BIRTHDAY!!!

17 years old, wow how time flies, I remember seeing him back when he was 13. And as everyone else has been saying…one more year til he is legal hahaha.

Oh and is is also Teddy Geiger’s 21st Birthday!!

I first saw him back when he was only 17, right around the same time I first saw the Jonas Brothers. Ew, I’m getting old.

Happy Birthday Boys!!!

VMAs

I want to start off by saying:

Chace Crawford is probably the most beautiful man I have ever seen.

Shakira is so tiny, she is so freaking cute.

Taylor Lautner might only be 17 years old but he can have my babies any day ;)

Lady Gaga is bizarre but is such a good performer.

Gerard Butler is also a very sexy man.

Kanye West is the biggest dbag ever and I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT.

Amanda Bynes is actually really really pretty in real life.

Adam Brody will always be one of my favorite actors.

Evan from the Real World/Road Rules Challenges is freaking awesome.

Beyonce is the classiest woman I have seen in a long time.

Basically the 2009 VMAs were amazing. The end. I love how I told people about them 28953 times in the past two days and still never know where to begin. I went Sunday afternoon after getting tickets for the “seat filler” position. It involved a lot of waiting around and since I was only allowed one ticket I had to go by myself. Luckily I became friends with the girl Marlene who was in line behind me and we ended up sticking together all night. The whole night we couldn’t believe we were actually at the VMAs, even after taking our seats. We sat on the side, which was pretty awesome because half of the celebs that came in had to walk past our seats in order to get to theirs. Green Day were the first to pass us which was really exciting. After that we saw people such as Shakira, Kanye, Lady Gaga, TAYLOR LAUTNER and some others. Jack Black walked by and Marlene put her hand up so he gave her a high five. Shortly after my love Chace Crawford walked by so I yelled “Chace” and he stopped and shook my hand. Pretty much died after that. During commercial breaks we would move up as some of the seat fillers would move over to the middle section when people would get up to make it look more full. About halfway through Marlene and I got to move to the middle section but had to sit further back with the regular people instead of celebrities. When walking to those seats though we walked right in front of everyone. I walked right by Adam Brody’s seat and proceeded to say his name. At that he turned to say “Hey, whats up?” It was pretty exciting seeing as how he has been one of my favorites since his OC days. At one point Marlene and I went to get drinks and saw Amanda Bynes and Perez Hilton, we didn’t want to interrupt their conversation though. Gerard Butler also kept looking at us a lot when he was talking to someone he knew in the row behind us. As we were leaving at the end of the night I saw Evan from the RW/RR challenges and told him how amazing he does on the shows. He kept saying thanks and told me he felt embarrassed because there were so many people more famous than him there yet he still got recognized.

Overall, the show was amazing. So much better live than on TV. The performances were all so good, I especially liked Pink’s as she was hanging from the ceiling. The Michael Jackson tribute was also really touching and well done. As for Kanye stealing the mic from Taylor, that was just complete insanity. At first everyone in the place was shocked as in “Did that really just happen?!” Then after a minute when it sunk in, everyone started booing followed by all standing up starting a Taylor chant. Every time after that when Kanye’s name was mentioned everyone booed him. It was kind of funny to watch, even though he got kicked out. The most exciting moment was when Beyonce won Video of the Year and called out Taylor to finally give her speech. Everyone went insane. Everyone stood up and started cheering and screaming. It was so loud that Taylor couldn’t even talk at first and had to wait for it to quiet down so she could.

So much happened that night, however I think this post is long enough. But I would definitely go again if I get the chance because it was an awesome experience and one that I will always remember.
